Strategické možnosti ve vinařství v České republice
Šperková, Radka
The topic of this dissertation thesis is the wine sector and its main aim is to define recommendations for enterprises in this sector and for enterprises that are just considering the entrance. Suggested recommendations are results of external environment analysis, assessment of attractiveness of the sector and complex analysis of the competition in the sector. According to the results, a recommendation for two extreme cases of enterprises considering the entrance to the sector has been suggested. In first case -- a micro company, cautious entrance with minimal investments, differentiation of the production and than gradual growth of market share was suggested. For a company of medium size that means need of high investments -- especially into technology and marketing. Recommendations were also suggested for two model examples of current enterprises. Micro companies should be focused on realization of conservative strategies like market penetration, concentric diversification and costs minimization. On the other hand, companies of medium size should be focused on realization of aggressive strategies such as development of new products, diversification, and backward, forward or horizontal integration. Also usability of modification of statistic method of cluster analysis as appropriate tool for competition group analysis has been verified.

The Role of Business Lobby in the Immigration Reform in the United States during the Second Administration of George W. Bush
Mackuliaková, Kristína ; Kozák, Kryštof (advisor) ; Raška, Francis (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the role of business lobbying in relation to the political arena of immigration reform in the United States during the second Bush administration era. It attempts to evaluate the impact of businesses on immigration policies through their lobbying activities. It analyzes expenditures on two separate bills that were introduced in Congress in the years 2006 and 2007. The thesis tries to answer the question whether American businesses enjoy an uneven impact on politics and is based on several premises. Businesses try to increase their profits via decreasing the wage level which is made possible by abundance of workers. They also try to prevent a situation in which there is a scarcity of workers. Businesses thus demand open liberal immigration policy and spend considerable resources to achieve this goal. Businesses have, according to some authors, a special position among other interest groups which enables them to effectively control political decisions. Given the fact that both bills I considered were liberal and heavily supported by the business lobby groups and still did not pass in the Congress I will claim that businesses are not as powerful as often expected.
Problematika zavedení Eura v ČR a jeho dopad na podnikový sektor
Boháč, Petra
BOHAC, P., The issue of the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic and its impact on the business sector. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018. The aim of this final bachelor thesis is to quantify the benefits and costs caused by the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic and how large this implementation affects individual business sectors. Entry into the euroarea gives businesses several benefits but also costs that affect their management. The identification of possible benefits and costs resulting from the introduction of the euro has been developed in similar studies on the effects of the introduction of the euro. The work divides the potential direct benefits that occur immediately after the introduction of the euro and the indirect ones that are here after a certain time, but they may never occur here. Quantification of costs and revenues is created for 2017. This work can be used as a benchmark or recommendation for business decision-making, which of these options would be appropriate for the coming years and would bring to the business sector.
